Business Support Officer needed to support the Revenue and Benefits service encompassing Council Tax, Housing Benefits and Business Rates (NNDR). The training period will require being on site 5 days a week, based at Kingston Council offices, in central Kingston upon Thames. After successful completion of training, hybrid working will be considered (with 2-3 days in the office). Key tasks will include: Sorting and scanning post Indexing post and emails onto the NEC Revenue and Benefits system Triage the emails for Council Tax, Housing Benefits and Business rates Run various reports from the DWP portal and for the Revenue and Benefits team General business administration tasks We are looking for an experienced self starter to join a small, friendly and busy team with: Good IT skills - Essential General administrative skills - Essential Experience of working for a local authority - Desirable Experience of sorting and indexing post - Desirable Google Suite (gmail/google docs/sheets) which is used by Kingston Council- Desirable A basic DBS will be required as part of the pre-employment checks
