The Resilience Officer role is central to ensuring Camden is prepared for, can respond to, and recover from emergencies that may impact our community. Working under the framework of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, the Resilience Officer will work to support Camden’s residents by developing and maintaining robust emergency plans and arrangements, coordinating business continuity strategies, and supporting partnerships both internally and more widely. By engaging with internal teams, external agencies, and the public, the role strengthens Camden’s ability to manage risks, from natural hazards to major incidents, ensuring services remain operational and communities are supported during times of crisis. The role may require participation in a 24/7 on-call rota as an on-call Resilience Advisor Ultimately, this role contributes to a safer, more resilient Camden, where residents can feel confident that their Council is ready to protect and assist them when it matters most
